Summary

The extension processes the information needed to create the export you explicitly request. It does not operate a developer server, sell data, or transmit your exports to us or to third parties.

Information processed

While you use the extension on a YouTube watch page, it may read the video URL, title, channel name, publication date, available caption tracks, transcript text, and comments visible to your browser. It stores only your most recently selected comment limit in Chrome local extension storage.

How information is used

This information is used only to prepare the TXT download or clipboard text that you request. The extension contacts YouTube as needed to read content from the video page currently open in your browser.

Sharing and retention

We do not receive, retain, sell, or share your transcripts, comments, exports, or usage data. Downloaded files are saved by your browser according to your browser settings. Clipboard contents are handled by your operating system and browser.

Your choices

You can remove the extension at any time. Removing it deletes its Chrome extension storage, including the saved comment-limit preference. You can delete downloaded files and clipboard content through your usual browser or operating-system controls.
